Our patrol staff is made up of experienced supervisory personnel who perform nightly patrols of client sites as well as provide a supervisory presence for our posted security personnel. Patrol Supervisors are given authority to make appropriate decisions in the event of an “incident,” and they are instructed to advise senior management of emergencies or serious incidents immediately. 

And, as a Patrol Supervisor they conduct regular nightly inspections of posted personnel and their sites to verify compliance with site security requirements and to maintain NORCAL PROTECTION SERVICES professionalism standards both in appearance and in the performance of officer duties.

Thus, clients are assured that they are never without senior management involvement should a crisis arise.

All Patrol Supervisors are Armed Certified Officers licensed through the State of California and are authorized to work as patrol officers in California. Each Patrol Supervisor receives additional training and personnel supervisory instruction through our certified instructors and management staff.  Such topics include: alarm response procedures, building search techniques, antiterrorism, fire alarm procedures, comprehensive reviews of special instructions from each client within their patrol district and advanced training in firearms use and safety.

In addition, before any potential Patrol Supervisor is allowed to become a fully qualified Patrol Supervisor, he/she receives a minimum of 120 hours of on the job patrol training to verify that  comprehensive training and preparation has been achieved. When this period is completed, each Patrol Supervisor is certified by senior management as an Armed Patrol Supervisor.

Each Patrol Supervisor is assigned a specific patrol district that he/she is responsible for on a nightly basis. During their patrol time, client properties are patrolled in accordance with contract parameters to deter criminal activities, monitor site incidents/activities and submit reports of any incidents/issues encountered to the client and NORCAL PROTECTION SERVICES management for further action.

Patrol Supervisors are required to maintain patrol district integrity. This policy guarantees that each emergency call and/or alarm notification is responded to in a timely manner. And, we intentionally limit the number of accounts/sites per patrol vehicle, this ensures that our Patrol Supervisors can spend adequate quality time on each account, which ensures that customer satisfaction is maintained and enhanced at every opportunity.

Alarm response is a supplementary function of our Patrol Supervisors duties. And, all Patrol Supervisors maintain district integrity to insure that you’re fully covered should your alarm be tripped, prompting a call from your alarm company to us for immediate response.

Upon arrival, the patrol officer will check the entire premises, including all doors and windows and notify the alarm company that they have arrived on the scene. At this time, instructions are followed concerning the client’s wishes with alarm resets, police notification (if a suspect is apprehended for instance) and other functions being performed per contract parameters. A written report is created and forwarded to the client and all other parties requiring a copy for further action or filing.

At no time will NORCAL PROTECTION SERVICES patrol officers do any more than instructed nor do they do any less than is expected to assure you that your property is protected at all times.
